I have renewed my annual travel insurance with Alpha travel for a few years now. Sometimes the policy needs altering, due to additional medication or holiday requirements. This takes a while, but the staff are very patient. I have no problems in recommending them.

"I can't recommend these guys enough, I had a fairly serious accident in India and Alpha got me home safely and with minimal fuss. The team felt like real people that actually cared, their advice was always sound, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating and much to my surprise the claim was processed within days of submitting the forms on my return to the UK. Once I've recovered from this accident and am back on the road I'll be using Alpha Travel Insurance again, I couldn't have asked for a better experience with an insurance company. "I made a mistake on my application form, a typo of my name, and because of the bank holiday weekend I struggled to get in touch as quickly as I'd have hoped, this is through no fault of their own. I emailed them the day I got the policy, but saw it would take up to 5 days for them to reply, by then I would be on my way. So I took to Facebook, and within 20 minutes a lovely lady replied and asked what the issue was to see if she could help me, and she did. The issue was resolved with no extra cost. Lovely polite staff member named Chantelle. I've never felt the need to leave reviews else where, but this was exceptional. Thank you."

I spent days looking online for insurance for my trip and was baffled by the difference in the figures I was quoted on the different sites - even the comparison sites! A friend then told me about Alpha, and I spent a while looking at which policy would suit me best. I liked how you could reduce your premium by setting your own excess, and the range of cover you get, for a really good price! I would recommend Alpha to other young people looking to go away for a length of time. I spoke to many of your team, particularly Lindsay, Carlos and our main contact Jane Bailey. Their calm and professional manner helped me to get through a very stressful time. Jane's knowledge of the island and ability to speak Thai made me feel as if I had a direct link to what was happening to my son and helped me considerably. My son is almost completely mended now as well, thank you very much for asking. In terms of a score out of five, I would say 5/5 as everything that he needed during his trip he got. Even extra things like moving him to a private room made a huge difference in his recovery rate."
